Power & Connectivity

• Power Supply: Built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery (standalone) + optional connection to vehicle power for continuous operation.

• Network / Communication: GSM / GPRS — uses a SIM card (standard) for communications and data transmission.

Tracking & Location

• Real-time GPS tracking — location is reported via GSM/GPRS data or SMS.

• Route history logging — device can record past travel routes, viewable on a compatible platform or via SMS queries.

• Location accuracy: typically within ~5–10 metres (depending on GPS signal strength and environment).

Alerts & Monitoring Functions

• Geo-fence alert — you can set virtual boundaries and be notified if the tracker leaves or enters the defined area.

• Overspeed alert — triggers if the tracked vehicle exceeds a predefined speed limit (on supporting firmware).

• Movement / vibration detection — alert if device detects motion, useful when parked.

• Power-cut / battery-disconnect alert (when wired) — alerts users if main power to tracker is cut.

• SOS / emergency alert (on variants with SOS-button) — sends alert + current location when triggered.
